Default Weldon as AUX pump or just get a dial-a-flow?

I was planning on setting up a weldon 2035 as an AUX pump that would kick on at a certain PSI through a fuel controller and keep the in-tank walbro 255. If I set it up like this the weldon would only be running like 10% of the time.

Or should I just use only the weldon 2035 and install it with a dial-a-flow?

I live in Vegas and it gets pretty hot and I've had friends with A1000's die from the heat out here but no one really runs a Weldon. I would like to street drive the car once and a while but didn't know the reliability of a Weldon with a dial-a-flow.

How much power are you planning to run with the car? There are other very good pumps for street driving.

Well for now with the current turbo, I plan on pushing 800-900hp, but I figured if I just take care of the fuel system I can just install a larger Garrett ball bearing turbo on later.

MagnaFuel makes an inline street pump that we use in our Race stage systems and they work great for the street with no need for a fuel controller. They have a 1000-1500and 2000 HP version. Give me a call I will help you design a system for your needs.
