CAS Sumped tank

Anyone ran this tank? If so how is the fit and finish?

PSJ had it put in his car, don't know anything more than that. I will be getting one in the near future hopefully.

I have one.

Had to go with a 99-02 filler neck and gas cap.

how about the fuel level guage being off? If you fill up you tank doesn't it leak out the breather?

I have not put gas in it yet. Znines had to cut down the fuel level sender, I'll ask him to post in here what he did.

I was also curious about the sender/pump. Does it use the stock units or an external pump?

I have the 14 gallon in mine. It uses the stock mounting points/straps and uses my stock fuel sending unit. I do run a external fuel pump but use the sending unit for fuel level/gas gauge. The only problem I had was that it hangs down lower than my stock tank and it wouldn't allow me to use my random tech cat-back. So I sold the random tech and bought a loud mouth which fits with no problem.

Great thanks for the info tom. Good thing I run true dual. BTW is your fuel leve gauge off?

Don't think the fuel gauge is 100% accurate but it's close. I never run mine lower than 1/4 tank on the gauge and I add gas from a 55 gallon barrel of Sunoco 104 Unleaded so I'm not for sure how much I add most of the time. I never have filled it up to the top due to the way I vented my tank and me being affraid it might splash out the vent tube.
