Default anyone with aftermarket fuel sending unit/gauge?

anyone here running an aftermarket fuel sending unit and gauge?

I can't find a 0-90 ohm universal GM, but can get an autometer universal/adjustable sending unit that works on 240-33 ohm with a different gauge.

do the wires that control the gas cap not being tight to throw a code need bypassed?

if the code is turned off, I wouldn't think you need them....
