ok, the difference is:

some older models were 26#

01-02 were 28#

as long as you weren't already maxing out your injectors (has to verified via LOGGING software to see % duty cycle) you would not gain anymore power. You would not lose gas mileage IF and ONLY IF you tuned your computer in your car for the new injectors and left your car alone from that

In order for you to swap you MUST tune your computer for the new injectors.

I do not believe there is a difference in the 00 and 01-02 injectors.. I could be wrong so I"m going to let someone else chime in on this.

ALSO, even if you did swap to the 28# from say 26# injectors, you wouldn't see a worthy improvement in % duty cycle due to the SMALL difference in the injector size.

SO, what you would want to do if you are even thinking about swapping injectors is go ahead and invest in some injectors that are 32# or greater, I would say UP TO 42# MAX right now.

DO NOT think think about swapping in 60# injectors, UNLESS YOU HAVE A PROFESSIONAL knowledgeable tuner to tune them to get them not running rich at idle.

Racetronix sells injectors, and 42# injectors will take 550RWHP easy; so you won't need anything bigger unless you go past that.

If you need any other help, refer to MY STICKY under this section

if you need any help understanding / interpreting the excel file or RCENG.coms' website let me know

It's not going to give you any noticeable difference if you go with different size injectors. The only way it's worth it, is if you go with a set of reconditioned injectors. Those will just restore MPG and power that is lost over time as the injectors build up with dirt inside. You'll be amazed at how much smoother a car can run. It's not worth buying new however because for a fraction of the price you can have yours rebuilt.
