Default 99+ Fbody fuel rails

What is that 'pressure regulator' looking thing on the rails? since the FPR is in the tank what is that 'silver' thing for and what does it do?

IF it is a FPR too, what pressure should it allow? I would think 58....

It is a dampener to reduced pulse knock from the fuel rails.

You should be at 58 psi at the fitting on the left rail.
