When is dual intank walbros necessary? I'm planning on building a 600rwhp LT1 on spray this winter. When is it necessary to upgrade to dual intank walbros? I have a single right now and it just went out (I ran it outta gas

The reason they don't like to be ran out of gas is because at around a little under a quarter of a tank they start getting hot. Running aftermarket pumps hot for an extended period of time does terrible things to them.
I've seen people with 700hp on the shot with a single pump. You have to take into consideration the voltage the pump is getting as it may attribute to the feeling like the pump is reaching its limits. A simple BAP will fix that.
