hard start, fuel issue?
hard start, fuel issue? my fuel system is 2- 255 walboros fed with -6 into -8 with a magnafuel 1:1 regulator. i have motron 60s. im using an autometer fuel PSI guage. my pumps are wired with 10 guage and on their own relay. im using the stock wiring to to activate the new 40amp relay.
now i notice my fuel system bleeds off just as fast as it pumps up when i key the ignition. now my problem when i go to start the truck it will fire and i can play with throttle to get it to run for a few seconds. then it fire, after about the 4th time it will fire as long as i hold the throttle WOT. then after all this the truck is extremely rich for a few seconds till all teh raw fuel is burned out.
why are pumps bleeding off, arent they suppose to hold pressure for little while? once truck is running it holds steady at the commanded fuel psi

you think injector? someone had mentioned that since i didnt install a check valve, so my fuel is bleeding off and not keeping the pressure it needs apond start up.

if one or more is stuck open they can drop pressure really fast, the extremely rich on startup is what says to me that its a stuck injector, since it would be leaking into the cylinder
i have an autometer guage to my regulator. thats how i can see the pressure dropping. i orderd a check valve and going to install that to see if that works. also going to drop tank and see if any connections are loose

What brand and size are they?
Siemen's 60's are a very very good injector, and they will work fine at 4 bar.
How old are they? Who did the tune? They will be a 69lb injector @ 4 bar.
I don't want to condemn these, but if you run out of options we can clean, service, and flow test them for $15 each to make sure they are performing correctly.
I would go that route instead of buying another set.
