Your stock 28# injectors will be enough assuming you have Stock cubes

thanks, is there any horsepower to be gained by adding more fuel with larger injectors?

I don't think so,but let some of the other guys chime in.I had my MTI H/C set up and 90/90 set up, my 28#er's still had 15% duty cycle left in them.

you need new ones....you have a 2000...they only have 26 lbers from the factory...Try a set of FAST 36lbers....same injectors that came in the GM ASA cars so you KNOW the specs to input in your Injector tables or your tune....Or a set of SVO 30s...lots of guys have success with those

I would grab some 36# injectors or higher. I would not go higher then 42# injectors unless you plan on pushing past 500RWHP.

I have been around and around with injectors.... I would buy some more and truthfully I don't know why they gave our cars such small injectors

I would indeed recommend going larger, we have a good deal right now on the old style and new style SVO 30's, as well as any other ones you would like.

We have several options in the 42lb variety.

We have New Bosch Design II's (old style SVO) for $49.95 each

We have new Lucas 42lb for $42.95 each

We have our rebuild Bosch Design II's for $239.95 for the set of 8

And our rebuilt 42lb Bosch Design III's for $239 for the set of 8 (I recommend these)

42lb is a lot of injector for a V8. what kind of CHP do you have?

With that setup I would definitely upgrade the injectors and pump.

What size injectors do you recommend ? My engine is built to handle 500hp but I don't have the heads or intake ported yet. It should not be hard to exceed at least 400hp...or am I wrong ?

Upgrade your entire fuel system. I would start with the fuel pump. Stock won't hang on much past 5500 RPM's with the stock system. If your making power, get a better fuel pump. Good idea to do that and the 36# injectors.

I went the "cheap" route and dont regret it ONE BIT. i bought some low mile used 2003/4 Cobra injectors which are 39#ers. I then bought the adapters from Casper and it cost me a total of under $300... I dont know, you tell me.. i get enough fuel w/ a racetronix kit and 39#ers

How is that the "cheap" route? I have the Design III 42's for $239 flow matched with o-rings and a 3 year warranty?
