How ya like them apples? Stock 10 bolt, 6spd, M/T's, full exhaust and a K&N 12.50's@113ish and it's been quick on since new. But 10 bolts are weak rubbish, right?

Yes they are rubbish. How many times will you be able to do that when I can do it over and over and over and over and over and over...you get the idea.

Try launching it by side-stepping the clutch at 6000 rpms and let me know how those apples taste. Of course it might take you a while to get back to me since you'll have to pick up all the little pieces of your 10 bolt and get a tow truck ride home.

Try to do 10 passes with each pass dumping the clutch at minimum 5000rpm... let's see it survive that. There are f-body owners who break rears and those that don't. It's just a matter of time for the latter.

I run 11.6 at 118 with stock 115,000 mile 10 bolt with just a T/A diff cover! 1.6 60ft. On only a boltons & cam only car with ls7 clutch full weight. But yes 10 bolts are weak! I slip the clutch not dump it.

Get a new clutch, dump it at 5K and see how far she goes.

My nittos dont grip quite as much as your MTs but I have alot more power going to the wheels than you do and my 10 bolt has lasted many launches, but im not going to expect it to last forever.

Nice time for your mods by the way...

How do you think the car is able to launch like that otherwise? Launch the car the same every time, the car and driver are almost good enough to be a bracket car, but that isn't real drag racing. It was a good car from the get go. 13.00's @108 stock.

I know this is a old post, but that is my car that nick S is talking about. I have 45 passes on the car and half of them have etstreets. I do launch at 5000 if the track will hold. I know in racing every thing brakes. I don't care what you got if you abuse it, its going to brake. I use to crew for several top fuel team and you could has the best **** made and its going to brake. So I know the rearend is going to brake WHEN ?

Ya I'm babied it out. Take a look at the rear tire, seems to have a little wrinkle in there and a large gap between the tire and the fender. By the way I believe the tire pressure was 18 psi.
