Default Moser 10 bolt

I have a spare new auburn pro and was thinking of doing a higher gear rebuild. I beleive my axles are the weak link, but have heard mixed opinions on the moser axles with c clip eliminators. Thoughts?

Default Gears

How much quieter are motive gears than richmond. I have some richmond gears and they can get annoying after some time.

the axles are not the weak link,no matter what internals(gears or carriers) you use for our 7.5/7.625 10 bolt, those internals are still going to be the 'weak link'

How much power are you putting out? I had one of them Auburn Pro Series, it held up with my LT1 Build, but I blew the Clutches out of it the first time to the Track with my 402 Build.

i blew the clutches out of my pro series unit first time out too...... ive broke several on a m6 car. never killed the gears tho, twisted an axle when i killed the last unit also. what tranny you running. you can get by with an auto for along time as long as you dont trans brake it....... i have a new in box auburn pro series unit i think im gonna sell since ive convinced myself it will never hold up. haha

Im thinking about doing a stall and putting a 3.42 gear in with moser axles. The car is a A4 with 340rwhp.

I'd go with these axles from Moser. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...html?item=1341 I wouldn't invest a lot of money into the rear, as it will eventually break no matter how much you try to beef it up. Bob
