Clunking, is my rear gone?

Clunking, is my rear gone? Clunking noise when decelerating, have had it for awhile. also have a whinning that increases speed but think it's the tranny. Now after a night of spraying it has a really loud clunking you can hear all the time. Is it my diff, maybe pinion gear, time for a new rear?

Re: Clunking, is my rear gone? Mine sounded just like that. I made it 70 mi after the track and 
. Then it doesn't go 2 ft without trying to lock up. Broke a tooth off the pinion and a few more pieces out of the ring gear. Now I'm installing a 12 bolt.
