Could i put a ford 8.8 rear end in my Z28? I have a buddy that has a COMPLETE 8.8 rear that he will give to me.. Only thing ill have to do is add some 31 splines to it and it should be able to handle a damn good amount of power. My question is would it bolt up? Would the dimensions be off?

It should fit, be sure to line the floor with thick blankets and drain the fluid first.

The 8.8 has no torque arm mount. Look at the pics. If this is the **** you want, then have at it.
Heres a guy who was building them and later said it's a bad idea. Read it all and we'll see that 8.8 you have up for sale.
