If it was me and I already had 3.73s, I wouldn't step up. Oh wait.. I do have 3.73s..haha but in an auto.

I settled on 3.89 as a compromise between those two lol but going from a 3.73 to a 3.89 is not that much of a difference. What is the reason you're changing gears, just to change to a different ratio and try to improve torque? Honestly, your torque is probably low because of the big cam you have in there, just the nature of the beast.
