Strange "S" Case 9" Center Section
Thanks,
Mike
although i can tell you this... i have a local customer that had a 1965 BelAir that was in full street trim. not sure of the weight, but it had to be everybit of 4000 or more. the car had a 565 big block, Dart aluminum heads, solid roller, etc, was also a Muncie 4 sp and a Ram clutch. we built a custom 9 inch, Strange axles and driveshaft, and used the S case. this car did see a good bit of dragstrip time with slicks and the rearend had no problems at all.
i have sold plenty of these cases to my 9 inch customers and have yet to see a single problem with them. Strange rates them to 850 hp.

Notice it says "when gear set life is not an issue" and "greater tensile strength then an OEM ford case"..... Neither of those sound good to me.
"Virtually indestructable" sounds better....LOL
That being said, I am sure you will be fine with the standard S case...
