Lsd replacment
i have a auburn lsd that i need to replace in my 02 z28 to a torsen lsd. i know they are interchangeable but i would like somebody to post up the steps on how i go about replacing an lsd in my car. any help would be appreciated.

Remove the old one and put the new one in, set backlash to .005-.009, 60 ft lbs on the bearing caps.
A few minutes or searching here will get you a step by step if you need that.
Or
jack the rear of the car up, place jackstands under the frame and let the rear hang down.
remove the wheels, brakes, wheel sensors if ASR, rear cover, cross pin bolt, cross pin, push the axles in and let the c clips drop out, pull the axles out 8", remove the four bearing cap bolts, remove the ring gear (left hand thread).
Reverse steps to reassemble.

the only reason i told that gut to save for a 9 inch or a 10 bolt is because he was going to buy a brand new eaton lsd that would of cost him 600bucks. i am just replacing mine with a factory unit i got for 100bucks. no need to be a smart ***. thanks for the help
