Lsd replacment

A few minutes
or searching here will get you a step by step if you need that. Or
jack the rear of the car up, place jackstands under the frame and let the rear hang down.
remove the wheels, brakes, wheel sensors if ASR, rear cover, cross pin bolt, cross pin, push the axles in and let the c clips drop out, pull the axles out 8", remove the four bearing cap bolts, remove the ring gear (left hand thread).
Reverse steps to reassemble.

the only reason i told that gut to save for a 9 inch or a 10 bolt is because he was going to buy a brand new eaton lsd that would of cost him 600bucks. i am just replacing mine with a factory unit i got for 100bucks. no need to be a smart ***. thanks for the help
