how much fluid does a 9 hold and anyone use royal purple in their 9"

3 quarts I use 85-140 weight 9-Plus gear oil

I would recommend running 3 quarts of an 80-90W NON-SYNTHETIC. If you are running a clutch-style posi you will also want to run 1 tube/bottle of the friction modifier/posi additive.
