Default F-Body Axle Question

Askin this for a friend, on a fourth gen f-body, are v6 and v8 axles interchangeble, and is there any difference between the driver/passenger side?

They are the same V6, V8, pass side, drivers side. all the same.

Very important though. If you have ASR, you need to get axles with reluctor wheel provisions. These are refered to as 4 channel axles.

If you don't have ASR, then you have a 3 channel rear with no reluctor wheel on the axle. With a 3 channel you can use either type axle.
With a 4 channel you have to use 4 channel axles.
