Default 1310 or 1350 pinion yoke?

so im trying to order a moser 12 bolt rear, and i dont know what pinion yoke my car takes.
its a 97 camaro ss m6

get a 1350. its bigger and can handle more torque. only thing you'll need is a 1310/1350 conversion yoke, you can pick one up at advance, autozone etc. it probably wouldnt be a bad time to change it anyway.

ok does the conversionyoke just bolt in between the yoke and the drive shaft or do i have to weld it?

You have to remove the factory rear u-joint on your drive shaft and replace it with the conversion u-joint.

If you are getting a new rear I would spend the extra $300 for a strange Chomoly d shaft with the 1350 setup and be done.

Conversion ujoints are simple. I would stay away for the Autozone/Napa Ujoints that are made overseas though. Go with a Spicer Ujoint if you can, they are better quality and tend to last a lot longer.
