Default question about LSD or not

I recently bought a rear end off of a member that was supposedly 4.10s and an LSD, but a friend of mine noticed that when you spin one axle, the other axle spins in the opposite direction and that means it's not an LSD. Is this true? The differential inside looks exactly like the zexel torsen unit I had a few weeks ago.

Thanks for the help.

All the F_body Torsens differentiate like that with
zero traction. There're a lot of people who use the
"limited slip" tag loosely. Neither the Torsen nor a
clutch type chunk are really limited slip processes.
Nothing limits the amount of relative slip in either
case. True limited slip operation is rare.
