Default a dilemma

So I bought my moser 9" from EPP with the intentions of having my friend and I install it (he's an ASE mechanic) long story short he's been a bit of a flake. So my question to you all is, should I go ahead and install this on my own? Give you an idea, i'd say in a scale 1-10 i am a 6 to 6.5 in mechanical abilities. I know what stuff is and what it does, but is this too much of an install to do(i'd have help but more or less people holding stuff up for me kind of help lol) I asked around and was quoted $550 to install it, DS and torque arm and all, but should i bite the bullet and pay that, or is this a simple install just tedious? I am confident in my abilities, but I don't want to start taking things apart only to find out I am in over my head.

Check with Bob, I believe he has a write up that should help you out. If not let me know and I can get you started in the right direction. This is a pretty simple process.

Alright thanks. Like I said I am not completely clueless to working on a car, I just don't want to do myself in.

A lift is best and you will need the right tools. Going to need some muscle also since I just got my third member tonight and it alone weighs 90 lbs.

It's justs nuts and bolts. Just take notes and mark your bolts. The ebrake stuff can be kind of a pain but it's not that bad. Also, setting your pinion angle is going to be a pain on the floor but the housing swap is not bad. The center section does way a bit but it really isn't all that bad.
