Strange noises
Ive got a 2002 Z28 with 9300 miles. Borla, subframes and a lid, otherwise stock. About a 1000 miles ago I began to notice a faint popping noise on rapid accleration. Well it started getting worse, and I began to notice is I was slowly coasting, 15mph or so I could hear and slight clicking coming from the rear. Now when I get on it not only can I hear the popping you can FEEL it, bad! Well I took to a dealer hear in San Antonio, they swore the Borla was rattling and I was crazy
So I took it to another dealer in town, took them for a ride, and that convinced them to take the diff apart. Well I called yesterday and they told me the diff was clean inside and they couldn't see anything wrong. Well, they're putting it back together right now, so I called the service manager and he wasnt there, so Im waiting for him to call me back. This is basically a stock car with the stock 10bolt w/ the factory 3.23s. The service writer is gonna tell me it is a normal noise of the limited slip or something like that, and Im like dude, I know F-Bodies with waaaay more power than this the have stock rears with no problems
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck.

So now Ive got the service manager on the hunt... Well see what happens
They say the connectors make the car to stiff, that it cant flex. Has anyone ever heard of double diamond style triangular connectors cause strange popping noises? Im gonna run out of aftermarket things for them to blame it on soon though

And to update, went and picked up the car, didnt talk to the manager or anyone as they were already gone, but the receipt they gave us says they replaced one carrier bearing, even though they told us on the phone everything checked out and they did nothing WTF?
