Wheel Studs

I bought a used Moser 9" and it came with ARP studs already on it. The problem is that they are 1.5" longer than the stock ones. What should I do? Buy longer lug nuts (do they exist?)? Swap out the ARP studs for the stockers?

You can use open faced lug nuts so the studs protrude through them, basically like a standard nut. This is required in the faster classes at most drag strips. Bob

dont swap in factory ones if you plan on racing. local guy bent all ten of his this weekend at the track launching from 6K.

I had some arp studs...I just ended up cutting about 3/4 of an inch on them. So I kinda ended up back to stock length. My zr1's I had needed the longer studs (11 inch rears). Then when I got my TT2's the studs were too long so I cut them down some.
