Default What type of gears should I get?

I want a 3.73 gear for my car. How much money is it to get a 3.73 put into the stock housing? Is it something that I should attempt or pay someone? Will it make a noticable difference?

I would pay someone to do it right. It takes some experience to get everything set up right. If not you will get alot of gear noise. The gears them selves will cost about $200, but I'm not sure how much for the install.

agreed. unless you have someone helping you that knows what theyre doing, id pay somebody to put them in, because if not done properly you could get gear whine or premature gear failure. around here, a gear install costs about $250-$300 NOT including all the parts (gaskets, shims, etc...). good luck!

Id keep the 323s and buy a FTRA and a underdrive pulley, Your gear is a pretty good gear all around, many people are going very fast with that ratio. Whats the stall on your converter. And what tires are u running.
