10bolt help

OKay so I messed up my spider gears in my rear fri nite at the track.

I want to put a spool in for now...I dont drive it everyday but it isnt just a weekender either. I understand that it will be harder on low mph turns and parking.

I dont understand what I need (got 3.73)

whats the differencde between mini or full spool?
I dont want to have to re-shim which means I should get a mini -right?

Also heard minis require an open diff-do I have that? How do I tell?

when looking at my rear I can see the spider gears does this mean its open?

Well, you've got a trans am so you don't have an open differential. You'd have to get one of those too. The eBay link is the right mini spool though. I don't believe anybody makes a full spool for our rears.

just replaced all the gutts in my 10 bolt an now it wines like crazy~~ think the guy shimmed it wrong??? gimme a reply" no hurry jus a weekend car

were would i get an open diff? How can you tell?

should I get new internal spider gears or do I have to get a whole new unit?

okay ebay link seller said a diff would be another 100 so 200 plus shimming and shipping for a spool
or detroit locker for 540 plus shim and ship or what else?

Suggestions needed asap would like to order all neccesssary parts tonight...

i may put a auburn in for time being while i build a used ford 9in out of a camaro

I am not sure on internals do no i need adapters for my rims to work and weld brackets on it.

also was told it does not have abs- doesnt that mean its a 3series? How does it drive on the street?

can i use my stock shocks and springs and drive shaft?

I was also told I will need brake conversion-which one?

Do i need lca or sway bars?

list of required parts or an install rewrite up would be great!
