So - after fighting the battle of the whine with my Moser 9 inch I have decided to put new gears in it.
I want strong, QUIET gears that will last. 3:73ish ratio.
I am considering superior axle and gear

or Yukon
or maybe something else if someone recommends.
I am interested in opinions out there on these 2 brands or if someone thinks i should use something else.

So, I am buying Monday. Any other input? No one cares? Are all the top level gears basically equivalent? I am pretty much down to 3 in my mind based on other stuff I have read - Richmond, Yukon, or Superior.

Richmond from my experience are horrible for noise. Yukon has great rep for being quiet.
Motive I had some in my 97 ta .410 and they were quiet but we moved them into my 99 ta and then they were very noisy.
I would also think a bone stock gear would be very quiet. like stock ford gear for the 9 inch.
