Four Link
. I have a older ford 9" and its going in my car. I dont really want to deal with a torque arm. Personally I think a four link is a better option. The torque arm puts stress on the center of the housing which puts stress on the gears. Four link puts the force into the wheels. Its like when you hold a pencil on the ends and push on the center, but with a four link you push further out on the ends. I have some really nice rod ends setting in the shelf and their looking for a home. I can build about anything and have access to a cnc plasma cutter, so building brackets isnt a problem. So should I?
