3.89 gears..do you like them?

I finnaly blew up my 4-5th 10bolt (lost count). Had enough. gonna put a 9" in the car this week. I had 4.11's in my 10 bolt and friggin loved them on the spray...on the highway driving I could stand it but not really...just a tad bit to many rpms for me. What are you guys turning on the highway at 75-80 with the 3.89's? How are they on the spray?

Also what gear oil you all running in the 9" and any additives?

I am running 3.70 gears in my 9 in. I love them I went 3.70 over 3.90 due to my power level and goals at the track.

I am just running a 80-90 non synthetic gear oil

I run 3.89's in my 9". That gear loves the bottle but I dont think its quite enough N/A.

I love my 3.89's. Haven't been to the track with them yet, but I picked this ratio based on what rpm/speed I should be trapping in the 1/4 mile.

I am interested ion this gear also w a fab 9 ....If i run a 28.5 tall slick w a M6 and 530Hp Spraying the car out of the hole my hopes are high 10s but I wanna be Knocking on the very top of 4th crossingf line........is this the right gear ratio and tire height for the track?...
