Default Moser "bolt in" 9" & Strange S case

Here are a few pics of the Moser 9" housing and what you have to do to make it clear the Moser torque arm mounting bracket.

Cool, same setup I have....actually I have the Pro-nodular case and billet support etc...

I also have a 69' GP....factory 4 spd car. Wish it ran like yours though. LOL

i just trimmed mine (the case)with a grinder till it fit

Is this the only case that requires trimming? What is this case rated to as far as power goes?

We can help you with your 69 GP , just drop about 1000lbs and get a fist full of parts for your Pontiac motor and you can be on your way

thechef - yea that is all we did too took a grinder to the case, didn't take too long to do

98Camarod - Strange claims they are 10% stronger than the factory "N" cases. They said their S case can handle upward of 800hp

trim it. had to take out a chunk of metal on the torque arm bracket

We used the BMR #XTA001 torque arm and only had the grind on the Strange case.0

Notch the Strange Case for clearance, we have to do it on just about every 9" we put into the F Body cars.
