Can my Moser 9" axles be shortened?

Default Can my Moser 9" axles be shortened?
I have a stock length Moser 9" that I want to shorten 3" per side. I was wondering if the axles can be cut an resplined or if I have to just get new axles?

Yes, the axles can be cut down and resplined by Moser. Bob
