Installed the Midwest Chassis 9" with Motive 3.70's today

No Trac-Loc which is the older style posi with clutches.
So I went tonight although I sweat to death getting ready and knew conditions sucked. I went slower but kind of figured that with mid 80's temps and 90% humidity. My best with the 9" tonight was 12.2@111 MPH. My best 60' was a 1.6. I think with cool unhumid temps I can get 11's but... it would have been much easier on the 10 bolt. Sept. 18th is cam/head/intake/tb install so maybe weather will change and I can try one more time before. Good news is the 9" performed great and I didn't have to wonder will she blow.

are you running a stall? you said a 3:50 gear would be more ideal for people who do highway driving. im getting a MWC rear but i have a FLT level 4 and Yank SS3600 stall, so maybe the 3:70 gear wont be that bad

SI I went 11.79@114.35. Did heads/cam/intake and went 11.40@119.15. That was pretty good through a 9". If I had to do it over I think I would have kept the LS6 intake/ported throttle body and stock 241 heads. Added a nice MS4 cam and probably ran the same time.
