Default 2004 gto rear differential capabilities ???

I am thinking of getting an 04 GTO it has mods and a stock rear setup the car runs high 11's and I plan on a couple extra upgrades ? what do you feel the limits and what upgrades are out there ? This is new to me I have always built a 9" and called it a day...

The parts required to build up the weak rear that came in these GTO' are very expensive. We recently came out with a Moser M9 rear for the GTO. Here is a link to it. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...html?item=1835

Well it makes 430rwhp now what do you think is a safe level to keep it under ? its automatic so that helps Im sure.

whats the major difference between the corvette rear and GTO ? I know there is vettes running eights ?

The Corvette rear is a completely different design, and is pushing a much lighter car. Bob
