Having an A4 car vs an M6 car when it come to a 10 bolt is night and day difference..
With an A4 car, the driveline is still being slipped. With an M6 car if you dump the clutch you are shocking the shiit outta the driveline.
My buddy has an A4 car Cam only ~410 RWHP went 10.8 @ 123 with a 1.38 60' stock 10 bolt and stock 3.23s....
Just about ~month ago he bought a 12 bolt.. just bc.
The A4 will not hurt a 10 bolt, M6 cars will DESTROY them

I agree it will last longer, but my rear end had 94k on it and took a street during daily driving in the ******* winter, no hard launch, nothing. Oh well, got a cheap 10 bolt out of an 01 SS with only 6k miles on it. Rear end now has about 12k on it. No noises at all, and I beat the **** outta it this summer on bald ET Street DR's.

Mine blew apart on pretty much stock power. I only had a borla catback and a lid. But who knows what happened to the car before I bought it (@ ~ 70,000 miles). Traded an arm and a leg for a Moser 9". Definitely worth it.

well the gears look good! a few of Ring gear bolts were backed out and i could move them with my fingers. But that was not broken. Some of the bigger bolts on the carrier bolt broke off. It looks like all it needs it to be tighten down and the bolts that were broken need to be pulled out and new bolts added.
Missing bolts. I found the 2 bolts
THe loose ring gear bolts

421 rwhp mustang dyno with 4.10 gears, drag radials, adj torque arm, lca, panhard rod, rear drag shocks, using TA cover and arp bolt upgrade, driven on street agressively when needed. Stock rear end still holding up for two years now with m-6 and spec clutch. I must be very lucky 12 bolt coming soon.
