I've never seen a wave trac, but I HATE driving a car with a spool anywhere other than in a straight line down a drag strip. Once you're up at speed it's not a HUGE deal (though it makes almost any suspension oversteer at high speed and understeer really bad in the rain at low speed), but it sucks so much trying to do simple things like park, and turn corners at low speed (making the car jerk, making you smash the gas to overcome the parking brake effect when the wheel is turned) that it sucks in a car that isn't spending it's life at the drag strip.

I have sold less than a dozen Wavetrac's so far, and we don't have any long term results to be able to give you. It does sound like Wavetrac has a great warranty program. My advice, if the car is a weekend car, go with a spool. The spool is less money, lighter, and won't ever give you any problems. If you do a lot of inner city driving and the car is a daily driver, then go with the Wavetrac if you're making a lot of power. Bob
