Going to 4.10s

I have a 2000 camaro, 6- speed with factory 3.42s. Do I need to run an extra thick ring gear if I go to 4.10s? thanks

No, you will need the thinner version, the 3 series.

^^^ the 3-series is what youll need.

depending on miles might look into a full bearing kit while youre at it.
thunder racing sells a kit complete with eveything for 400, and then jaws gear will price match that plus free shipping from what i recall.

The reason I am asking is I thought the 3 series carrier could only support up to a 3.80 gear before having to go to a thicker ring gear or spacer

Just order up the 3 series 4.10 and you're good. Highest I have seen is a 4.56 I believe, but who knows what all is out there. 3 series 4.10s are a direct bolt in.
