Default Installing used, used, used gears

I was just wondering if there was anything that could go 'wrong' with this...

I'm about to spool my rear end. I've got 4.56's in there, that I bought used (set up #1). They were set up (#2) with a regular crush sleeve, but after a couple of trips to the track and a slew of launches on slicks, they were not happy any longer. So I had them re-set-up (#3) with a solid pinion spacer.

Now, we're looking at set up #4. No way to match the pattern *exactly* every time, so each time is a little different.

Noise does not matter. Loud pipes save lives. It's a spooled solid roller rowdy car.

Any inherent weakness in setting up the gears a 4th time?

I think you know the answer, I bet they are in the car already

I wouldnt worry about it if you arent concerned about noise..

If I wasn't concerned about noise I'd just get the pattern as good as I could and call it a day.

If someone knows what they are doing they would be set up exactly the same every time. It doesn't matter whether you set the pinion bearing preload with a crush collar or the pinion spacer. It's all the same. The pinion depth should be the same. There is no difference from the first time setting it up to the 4th time setting it up. If the depth and the backlash is set the same as before it's all the same now, pattern would be as well.
