48" driveshaft????

48" driveshaft???? Been doing some searching on what guys are running for driveshaft lengths and the numbers did not seem right to what I have so I thought I would measure my setup again and get some thoughts. Center to center on the driveshaft is 41 3/4" and from the front of the slip yoke to the rear center of u-joint is 48" seems a little on the long side????

correct with your application. the f-body cars dont require much slip travel at the yoke due to link and torque arm type suspension.
