Default T/A 10bolt cover worth it or not?

My buddy wants to make his rear end a little stronger. Is T/A cover worth it? We all know nothing beats getting a better rear end but he is on a tight budget and wants to add A LITTLE more security for his stocker.

They are called a girdle, I have a brand new one for sale with ARP studs. Its an LPW, after the research I felt theirs was the best.
