It is my opnion that the M9 staggered torque arm will cause some kind of biasing or twisting of the housing compared to a straight torque arm. I just don't see how it can control things as well as a straight TA.

But the "possible if any" ill effects would be minuscule and I doubt would ever really be noticed or contribute to anything negative.

Obviously they were going for maximum ground clearance.

that is correct, if their torque arm was straight it would be hitting the tunnel.

midwest did it straight so there must be a way to do it. I just don't understand why they couldn't figure it out. I'd be leary of a twisted arm but that is just my opinion.

Mine is in powder right now. Eric is great to talk to and will answer any question one has, even when he is as busy as he is now. I talked to him in the very beginning and told him his product was gonna take off and be ready, looks like I was right!

Not bad, talk to Eric above you... He'll hook you up. If I would have even got a Moser 9", I would have paid ahhhh, $200-$300 more than I did with Midwest...

maybe this is why they just lowered the price $200 on the M9......

YA no doubt, not sure what one of those cost and don't really want to know I may soil myself and plus its out of my league for actually needing it. I think a standard moser 9'' will hold enough power for most but if money was no option I am sure I'd already have one!

Default Is that the inside of the M9

Interesting....

You should see the inside of Midwest chassis rearends, there are perfect fit gussets on the housing tubes inside and out as well as a ton of extra features that should be looked at.
He is basically using the same design as the rear-ends in several top sportsman, drag radial and all motor cars he has built. I am very excited to get my TRUE fabricated rearend from him. Not a stock housing with a funky back peice welded on.......His customer service is top notch... to me that is more important than the "best price"....
