My 275/40/17's do not like the spool at all, they are gettin crushed. Just have to get to summer then it will be 295/55/15's all the time which should be better.
what degree of turns? all turns? 90 degree turns? what about just slightly winding roads?

I have a 3 channel rear end. I would say mostly 90 degree turns, sometimes it tries to kick them loose at 50 degree's or higher. It really does like going straight, i really want to throw on the M/T's and see about how they like the spool though. Parking is interesting, gas stations get fun, as well as pulling in/out of driveway haha. Going slowly and turning stinks but quick isn't bad. I haven' ttried windy roads but the faster is normally better.

Winding roads won't be a problem. Parallel parking is a fun adventure! Bob

+1 Bob speaks the truth. Really full parking lots and parallel parking suck. I avoid them as much as I can haha. Other than that, I hands down LOVE my spool.

That is a relief, I was worried about the drive-ability of the spool versus the durability of the true-track.

I always heard that spools on daily drivers eventually lead to broken axles and as already stated big poblems parking and driving in wet weather, that's why I went with a 35 spline Detroit Locker for my S60.

I thought the S60s were only available with the Tru-Trac or the Spool.

I bought the Midwest Chassis one. Cant beat the package deal.
Fab 9"
backbrace
4.11 richmond gears
spool
4 channel abs
31 spline axles
strange s case was going to go with pro case Eric said it was a waist of money for my setup
panhard bar and contol arms
and short torque arm with drive shaft loop
1/2" wheel studs and I think that was all

damn i have a true track in mine but i wanted to change gears so can i still use the 33 spline axels i have now with a spool. With spray the car should make 720rwhp to 750rwhp do i need 35 spline axels and i hate to say it but im really leaning towards a turbo 400 and a nice converter so it'll be easier on the driveline. i really enjoied the 6 speed on the road but its turned pretty much into a track car that i can drive on the street instead of a street car that ocassionally went to the track.

i Daily Drove my ss with a spool all last summer and they only thing that was different was pulling in parking spots and driveways. Besides that it wasnt a problem at all. I have a 4 channel and both my abs and tcs worked fine, idk why people are saying it wont work but once i get my motor back in it i will DD it again rain or shine everyday.

I have been saying that for a long time that the abs light will not come on because it has a spool in it something else is wrong with the car if the abs light is on

I'm still having a tough time deciding if I should go with a spool or a tru track. Rear will be an 8.8 with 31 spline axles, in a street car (6-8k miles a year) with ~425 rwhp, and 17s or 18s no 15s ever
