There's no ryme or reason some get lucky others not.
One way to find out?
If you got an A-4 your less likely a M-6 will grenade it quickly.

I never had any issues with my 10 bolt and Nittos. I may have been lucky though.

I have a 1999 Camaro SS with 55,000 miles. I have made about 40 passes on my stock 10 bolt with 275 Nitto 555R's out back and I haven't had any problems whatsoever.

I have a tune, lid, headers, y-pipe (no cats) and a loud mouth. I put down about 335/345 and I feel the 10 bolt would last forever with my setup.

It all depends if the nittos hop. If they hop they are not any easier on parts than slicks.

I doubt that Nitto's on a stock Vette would do anything but help traction.

I've seen those "half shafts" (if thats what their called) on the Vettes all beefed up, they are huge.

67,000 miles, 3000 miles since the cam, 14 passes on street tires, 6 speed, 381 rwhp/373 rwtq, and the rear end is howling terribly.
