ok guys, i got 373s installed and my speedo is off, which i knew it was going to be before they were installed. My first question is what is the cheapest way to recalibrate my speedo?

Now i have this horrifying whine, the guy who put them in has taken it apart 3 or 4 times, we have came to the conclusion is was a bearing, bc we didnt change the bearings when we changed the gears, and being the my car has 193,000 miles, we should have.

Any help?

To change the speedo = tune

To stop the whine = Pinion bearing

What was backlash when you installed the gear set? Are the gears new or used? Did you run a pattern? If so what did it look like? Did you new shims and crush sleeve? All this things could cause a whine if any are out of spec or looked over. The speedo issue anybody with HPtuners ls1edit or maybe your hand held programers could fix it for you by tell the pcm you have changed the final gear ratio.
