this is probably silly to ask, don't blast me, i'm newbie supreme when it comes to upgrading the *** end.
Been researching it, I'm probably going with a built 4l60e from one of the sponsors & a 12bolt rear. but what else do i need... gears, and... do i have to replace the axle too what else?

okay, it does come complete.... good. So the shop helping (mainly showing and doing it for me) will have everything to literally make it go if it comes "complete" right?

+1 Agreed! After the driveshaft look into the different suspension pieces. Other than the cam, nitrous and bolt ons I am building my car in the same way, from the *** end to the front. I'm building my car around my engine. Then when the time comes I will drop in a new motor.
