Default tranny, rear end, then... ?

this is probably silly to ask, don't blast me, i'm newbie supreme when it comes to upgrading the *** end.
Been researching it, I'm probably going with a built 4l60e from one of the sponsors & a 12bolt rear. but what else do i need... gears, and... do i have to replace the axle too what else?

If you are buying the rear end from a sponsor it comes complete I would suggest upgrading the driveshaft

okay, it does come complete.... good. So the shop helping (mainly showing and doing it for me) will have everything to literally make it go if it comes "complete" right?

what upgrades to the driveshaft should i look into?

Yeah a shop will have everything to install it. The upgrade for the drive shaft it to replace it with a stronger one like a PST driveshaft that's good up to 1000hp

+1 Agreed! After the driveshaft look into the different suspension pieces. Other than the cam, nitrous and bolt ons I am building my car in the same way, from the *** end to the front. I'm building my car around my engine. Then when the time comes I will drop in a new motor.
