^^^ exactly. this is why my fabricated 9 inch package is such a good deal. by the time you start putting options and other things, then add the little things the other rearends aren't even offered with that make it a true bolt-in, the other rearends end up costing the same and usually more. give us a call and we can discuss your options on any rearend you like. We are a direct dealer for Strange and Moser and can get you a great deal on the right rearend for your car.

The majority of people could not fabricate something like that. Whether it be lack of knowledge and/or tools.

And even at that, it would probably still equal it. Why would you not just save yourself the trouble and buy a 9"?

Eric is the man to talk to for rear ends and from what I have heard in a couple of weeks or less he will have front suspension also. Maybe the car will still be there when he gets my rear done. Should be done anytime this month I hope. Time will tell

there people building 8.8's for $850 by getting their parts out of a salvage yard.
If you have more time and knowledge than money, this is a logical and cheap way to go.

I payed $2800 for my 12 bolt.

I had to throw a used 10 bolt on it that I payed $300 for, for a season so I could save up, then sold the 10 bolt for $150. Unless you find a nice used one online be prepared to spend almost 3k.

Do consider midwest's option before you drop the cash.

Now wouldn't that be nice.

I need to order and can't find a good price. I can get a 12 bolt used for 1800

Dropping 3100 to MWC this week fo a Fabbed 9"/ Torque arm / driveshaft. Spent 2500 for a strange 12 bolt 3 yrs ago...that was just the rear end. After a BMR torque arm- the fab 9 is just as cheap. If you have a 6 speed...just do the fab 9 to start with.
