Default 94 stock 10 bolt problem

Ok just got back from a 400 mile round trip. On the way home started getting a vib from rear end. Got home and man handled rear tires and they move as if the bearings are bad. Look under car a and gear oil is everywhere. So I put the rearend of the car on jack stands and opened up the rearend. Did not notice any heat damage so far. Any pointers on how to remove the axles to replace axle bearings? And how and what else to look for?

Some patience might help...to remove the axles you need to remove the brake calipers and mounting brackets then remove the center pin in the carrier followed by the c-clips

+1 on the patience. Got the brakes covered. You said center bolt is there two of them or does the one hold both of them in and c clips. sorry my book is very vage. I am new to the rear end maybe I will learn something.

If you have the rear cover off you see a big pin in the middle of the carrier. The pin is held in by a bolt on one side. Remove the bolt and the pin will slide out. Push the axles in so it removes the pressure on the c-clips and remove them with a magnet or needle nose pliers

The number is the teeth on the pinion and the number of teeth on the ring gear. That means they are 3.23

Guess I got my hopes up on that one. I was hoping that someone did the upgrade. Gears look brand new. Any advise on the pinion seal?

Just remove the nut and pry it off with a screw driver. Count the number of turns on the nut or mark the threads and put it back the same way
