reluctor ring

reluctor ring im planning on switching my rearend to another 10 bolt that has 3.73 3 series but it is a 4 channel. my car is a 3 channel with a 2 series carrier. are there a different reluctor ring for a 2 and 3 series carrier or are they the same? i called my local chevy dealership to price one for a 3 series carrier but gm has discontinued them.

2 and 3 series have nothing to do with speed sensor rings. 3 and 4 channel is what you need to focus on. A 3 channel has only one speed sensor mounted on top of the center chunk, and a 4 channel has only 2 sensors, one mounted behind each wheel.

i have read that thread. i need to add a reluctor ring to the new rearend and since its a 3 series carrier i cannot use my existing reluctor ring. so is this the correct part number 26029185.
