10 bolt and roll racing.

Well I am saving up for the MWC 9" rear. I thought for sure I would have it by now but some things have changed.

My question is....Can I put a 4.10 gear in my stock 10 bolt and not have to worry? I will only be doing roll races until I get my MWC. No launches.

IMO you'd be fine, if you really didnt launch, your numbers are high enough to break things though

i had 4.10s in mine and blew it in 4th gear. i had a t/a cover to. thats before the ms4 too. i did slam 4th hard, but that sure as hell wasnt a fun ride

Maybe I will just keep the 3.42's and wait for my 4.11's in the 9".

I had just under 600 to the wheels on my stock 3.42 rear end.. LOTS of roll racing and banged gears pretty well. Still goin strong

I would do that!! Had a budy put them in his car and the rear didnt last long. Now we orderd MWC rears.

It's hit or miss, some have the 10 bolt last and others not. I broke mine the first time I shifted hard from 2nd to 3rd with the new motor. I'm making about the same horsepower as you.
