Default Drivetrain play / noise?

I have a tsp torquer 2 cam in my M6 car with supporting mods, along with a futral motorsports tune on the car. After getting the car tuned the cam surge nearly went away. But the drivetrain still seemed to have a good bit of play in it..

I replaced the ujoints on each end of the driveshaft, and replaced the seals and axles in the rear end. This helped the problem but didn't entirely fix it. Does anyone have any idea why it feels like my drivetrain has play in it? It takes a good bit of clutch work sometimes to keep it smooth.

Not possible to eliminate all the play. Just the nature of the beast. If you're having problems with the clutch being jerky, it may be time for a new one.
