Default auburn diff

right now i have 2.73 with a torsen in my rearend and i found one somewhat close to me with 3.73 and has a auburn in it. how do the auburns compare to the torsens? he says it is a new differential that was installed less then 2000 miles ago so it shouldnt be wore out or need new clutches. Has anyone had problems with a auburn?

Torsens typically last until something catastrophic or as in the following thread link
https://ls1tech.com/forums/gears-axl...tle-rough.html

Auburns' cone clutches wear out over time, breakage is typically limited to the Auburns spider gears.

Removed my Auburn at 118,000 miles,it looked like it had about maybe 10,000 miles left before the cone clutches would have been worn to non-usability.
Didn't remove it because of a problem, entire rearend replaced with a rearend I built with Richmond 'used' 4.56s' and an Eaton posi I picked up at Summit.
