Default a4---4.10's and 28" tire guys please come in

well im fixing to do gears and buy some new ET streets.
ive been getting lots of people telling me to go 4.10s and a 28x11.5 15 ETstreet, saying that combo would be good for now and future plans i have for the car.

but im just curious at what RPM people are trapping with this combo.

my mods are SS4000 stall,MS3 cam, full exhaust, tuned, car is gutted.

i'm running a similar setup, however I havent had it out yet.

VRX5 cam
SS4000 stall
4.11 gears
150 shot
28x10.50 ET Drag

depended on converter slip i believe i should be good to about 127 mph trap

I can testify for my friend who has a z28 with a small cam, headers, bullet exhaust, MAF, air lid, K&N, 4.10 gears, 28" tall hoosiers, BMR trac pac, Competition eng shocks and nitrous. He ran 8.13 in the 1/8 and 7.30 on nitrous. No 1/4 mile times yet. He doesnt even have a tune. I will tell you that after the 7.30 pass the rear end had enough. He broke teeth off of the pinion. I HATE a damn 10 bolt. One of my first mods was the 9"

How high are you going to rev it?

Assuming a 6700 redline, it should be good for 124-130 MPH depending on how efficient the converter is.
